The Farm

We rear surplus beef calves sustainably, aiming for a predominantly Angus herd by 2026.

Our farming follows stewardship agreements and SFI schemes,

with homegrown feed supporting environmental responsibility.

The Farm

We are establishing a sustainable suckler herd by rearing surplus beef calves purchased from dairy farms where our head farmer, Lynn, has previously worked. We raise the heifers until they are two years old, at which point they are ready to go in calf, while the bullocks are sold at two years old into the food chain. Our goal is to transition to a predominantly Angus herd by 2026.

Our land operates under stewardship agreements, and we actively participate in Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) schemes whenever possible to ensure that our farming practices benefit the environment rather than harm it.

We also produce our own barley, wheat, straw, and hay to feed our cattle, with support from local contractors.
